Welcome to Billingshurst Primary Academy

New Reception Intake 2025 Open days

We are excited to offer a range of events for prospective parents (2025-26). We are offering times to come in to see what the children do at school, chances to talk to senior leaders and the Early Years team and even chances to join in with some Christmas fun.

Please see the details below:

Thursday 26th September, Monday 30th September, and Friday 4th October - these are opportunities to come in and see the children in the setting, have a tour and chat with Senior Leaders and the Early Years Lead.

Monday 25th November at 6 pm - this is an opportunity to come into school after the school hours. During this visit you will have a short presentation from the Headteacher and then a chance to come down to the Early Years Unit and talk to the team.

Finally we are offering 2 Christmas craft sessions on the 4th and 5th of December. These will be run by the Early Years team, in the Early Years classrooms. Please come and join us to make decorations, decorate biscuits and have other Christmas fun."

As the headteacher of Billingshurst Primary Academy I feel very proud to welcome you to our learning community where we believe in the uniqueness of every child. I am thrilled to be here to lead Billingshurst on its journey to excellence and share the joy of learning with our fantastic children.

We are a 3 form entry school with extensive grounds and facilities. The school has a family feel with a friendly greeting to welcome you all.

The staff at Billingshurst are caring and inclusive and really do go above and beyond. Together, we work to plan, deliver and resource learning so all can make progress and work towards excellent outcomes.

The happiness and self belief of each member of our community is important to us and we work hard to equip our children with the skills and resources to become the best unique version of themselves.

Visits are highly encouraged so you can see first hand the vibrant learning community that is BHPA; I look forward to meeting many of you and building strong relationships with our wider community.
