Our gates are locked at 08:55 to ensure the school is safe and secure. Any children arriving after this time must enter through the school office.
What to do if a child is late, ill or has a medical appointment?
Late
If you are late you will need to enter through the main pedestrian security gate. Persistent lateness is monitored by our Safeguarding Lead.
Illness
Call the office to report an absence on 01403 782789. Regular, unexplained absence through illness will involve the Safeguarding Lead.
Appointments
A request for a child to leave school to attend a medical or dental appointment will, in most cases, be granted as an authorised absence. Where possible appointments should always be made outside of school hours. Children who need to leave the school during the school day for an appointment must be collected and signed out from the main office entrance.
